Audit-only, by design
Warden has no enforcement code paths - no kicks, bans, mutes, or lockdowns. Even with elevated permissions it cannot act on your members. It is a system of record, not a moderator. Pair it with whatever enforcement bot you already trust.
Minimal scopes & permissions
Sign-in requests only your identity and the servers you administer - never message content over OAuth. On invite, Warden asks for the read + post permissions it needs and nothing more: no Administrator, no manage-server, no power to change your community.
Fully hosted, free
Warden is a free product, run and maintained by Oriox Systems. There is nothing to deploy, patch, or pay for - sign in, configure, done. It isn't self-hosted or open source; we keep the infrastructure so you don't have to.
Transparent
Every change you make in the dashboard is itself recorded. What Warden captures, where it routes, and who configured it are all visible - observability you can audit, not a black box.
Passive, never punitive
